St Konstantine

Set amongst acres of native forest the beautiful resort of St Konstantine & Elena is the ideal place to relax. It is one of the oldest resorts on the Black Sea coast situated just to the North of the city of Varna. The resort was originally developed around natural mineral spas and many of the hotels offer spa services along with all of the other amenities associated with modern resorts. The beach is split into natural coves all with large sandy beach gently sloping into the sea making them excellent for swimming. Prices are slightly higher than in some of the other resorts as most of the hotels are of a high star rating and the resort as a whole is considered a high-class destination.

Varna

Is a bustling city on the Black Sea coast, which is both a working port and holiday destination. It is the third biggest city in Bulgaria and is a city of great contrast as first impressions are tainted by the number of high-rise apartment blocks and industrial developments around the port. However, after spending a short time in the city you appreciate that it is actually very beautiful and quite cosmopolitan with tree-lined streets, coffee shops and bars and beautiful architecture. It is not widely promoted in the UK as a holiday destination but it actually has a large beach and beautiful long promenade with lots of woodland. The city is served by its own international airport, which receives direct flights from around Europe. Since it is a working city all of its amenities are open all year round and whilst the weather in the winter might be inclement it still offers the ideal place for a cheap holiday. The city has a university, opera and cathedral as well as many other sites of historic interest.

Golden Sands

Golden Sands is a large holiday complex with more than 100 modern hotels offering all of the amenities associated with such a large complex. The resort has been developed to include many pedestrian areas, which are lined with small kiosk shops giving the resort a very friendly atmosphere despite its size.
